The third annual New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix benefiting the Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence will be held Sunday, September 24, 2000, at the home of Abigail and Les Wexner in New Albany. The Classic is an American Horse Show Association sanctioned invitational that features North America's top professional riders, selected from the United States Equestrian Team computerized listing. Riders will compete for $50,000 in prize money and the winner will receive a one-year lease on a new car. This year, for the first time, the New Albany Classic will be televised on national television via the Fox Sports Network.
